Because of cloud cover, we decided to not go up Pike's Peak today. We headed to some cliff dwellings in Manitou Springs and then on to Royal Gorge. The cliff dwellings were very interesting. We found out what Sipapu means (this is the name of the ski resort that David and I learned to ski at). Sipapu is a small hole that the Anasazi Indians believed the spirit entered the world through and exited this life back through to the afterworld. At Royal Gorge we crossed the bridge, took the areal tram and went down into the gorge. We also did the sky coaster, which was scary and fun.
