Way too much paper

I spent more than half of the day printing documents to put in binders for the teachers. I am not looking forward to actually putting them in binders. The other pictures are of my sparce office at the high school.

THe Big 4-0

Brian turned 40 on Saturday and we had a family birthday party on Sunday at Jean's house. Made him his Italian Cream Cake and got to eat a piece. David and I made the best cake ever.

Firefly Fling

Friday night we went to a jazz concert and Saturday night we went to the Firefly Fling at the Botanical Gardens in Fayetteville. There were people dressed up as fairies all over the place. I saw Jesse who I used to work with and Joe who goes to church with me and Paul who I work with at the high school. Great people watching.

Hugo

What a fabulous book. It took me a while to convince David to read it with me, but he loves it now. It is a Caldecott Award winner and it is a page turner. I am even disappointed when I have to close it up to go to bed.

VBS Fun

Liam and Molly got to come to VBS with us tonight. I have three older girls in my clownfish group that are very sweet. Mom is helping out each night, which is great. Cayden is the only boy and here he is shoving something up his nose that he can shoot it out on people. Oh, you have to love boys.

Hiding Out

Some days David is not too keen on the idea of taking a picture every day. Tuesday was one of those days.

Havin' Fun and Lookin' Good

The boys and I went to the aquatic center in Springdale on Saturday and it was a perfect day to be in the water. Way too hot to be outside otherwise. And Mom and I went shopping on Sunday and I got several new dresses for work. I think I am set for a while except for shoes and jewelry. This shopping things is neverending.

A Night with a Buddy

These shots were taken on Thursday and Friday. David is playing way too much wii the last couple of weeks. He is way to competitive. Jeremy came over Friday night to hang out.

New Library

Here are a few shots of the High School Library that I am setting up. All the books are adult books like John Grisham and Stuart Woods, but they look prety on the shelves until I can get some age appropriate materials. I think it looks good for a couple days work.

Heat Relief

Bought this last week and was going to take it down so that I could weather seal it, but it has rained just about every day since I put it up, so I can't seal it until it's dry. I also can't mow the lawn. Aww! How sad.

Playing in the Fountain

On Saturday, David and I went to see The Last Airbender and after the show David played in the fountain. Of course, he got totally wet, but luckily I got him out of the water about 3 minutes before the security guard came and shooed all the other kids out. Ha!

A Soakin'

David and I went to see LaVona Cerna in the hospital on Friday and as we were leaving we had to run to the car in the rain. By the time we got to the car, we were soaked. I even took off my shoes so I could run a bit faster. Didn't help at all.

Where's the Coyote?

Saw this roadrunner in the parking lot at Lowe's. Thought it was pretty funny. Texted Scott and told him about it and he said that he has the it before too. Must live at Lowe's. And the flowers were from Scott. He said that it had just been a while since he gave me flowers. I love getting flowers! Makes me feel special.

More 4th

Weather was perfect and the kids all had a great time. I am posting this way late, because I couldn't find my blasted camera for a while. I am sure there was some great funny story to tell that I just can't remember now.
