January 26-Mail Call

Jeremy is our resident mailman. It is his unwritten job. The mailbox is just to far away from the house. There can't be anything in there that important that can't wait for him to get it.

January 22 & 23-Bowling...Again

First day of P90x3 and I get my monthly treats, which I gave to Chuck since it was his birthday and then Chachi ate the rest. Stupid dog. I did get one cookie though. 

I'm getting better at bowling.  Broke 100 both games tonight. Also, David got an academic award today. Yea!

January 21-Ride em like you...

Not sure how to finish that sentence. We start P90X3 tmrw morning and I have to admit, not excited. Want to be supportive though. I need it just as much as Jeremy though. 

The pic is from last night's pizza dinner. Very cold out and Jeremy rode anyway. 

January 20-Reading...Well Listening

Trying to listen to 4 books at once. HP with David, already listened to half of Gone Girl before it came back to me and the Ellen and D. Sedaris book were holds I placed while waiting for Gone Girl. Of course all available at the same time. 

January 19-Breakfast Out

Jeremy had a motorcycle class to teach this morning, so David and I went to breakfast at Susan's. Yummy! We then went to see The Nut Job at Fiesta Square at 11:00, which I think is odd for a Sunday morning. I still wasn't feeling all that great so we just came home and spent the rest of the day lounging. Done a lot of that lately, but it was needed I think. I'm getting geared up to do P90X 3 with Jeremy. Tried to plan out my food today. It is always better when I have consistency and convenience. I'm not big on variety and a lot of work and clean up. I get the feeling I don't know how to truly live because I don't take the time to savor my food. I'm sure I'm missing out on greatness. 

January 18-So Sweet

My boys have been taking are of me. David made me breakfast in bed this morning. Made me my PB Toast with strawberries. Jeremy put away the Christmas decorations and did the dishes and made dinner. I'm super lucky. 

January 17-Pitiful

This is an amazingly unattractive look. At least I have an excuse. I have been sick the last two days. Didn't work yesterday and should have stayed home today. 

January 15-Immigrant Day

David was a poor German composer for Immigrant Day. 

January 14-Gymnastics Day

David still enjoys going to gymnastics each week. I wish he could do it more than once a week so he could get better at it. He needs more exercise than he gets and he likes this one a lot. Of course if he did it twice a week he would probably not like it any more. 

Also, saw my first electric car hook up today. Probably been there forever and I'm just unobservant. 

January 13-Game Again, Game Again

Light day at work. Had to drive almost 2 hours to get to a game this evening. Not a big deal. Wish I'd had a book to listen to though. 

January 12-New Church

I tried a new church today. I was probably 1 of less than 50 there. Music was good, but they need a little work on the greeting. It did make me look up greeting though and I now know not to ask people if it's their first time. They don't like that. I think I need a few more tips. Need to read another site or help guide. I need to get to know names. That will help tremendously. Of course I'm not talking church. I'm talking HOG chapter meeting. 

January 11-Bowling

Jeremy needed to practice tonight so we went bowling. We convinced Sheila and Keith to come along. Take note of Jeremy's fancy new shoes. 

January 10-Cut

David is styling. 

January 9-Snow Day #8

I have to admit that I would much rather stay home than go to work and I like my job. I love not having a set agenda. I love lounging. Sometimes I feel guilty like I'm wasting my time and shouldn't, but that passes. 

My pic today is a nightly ritual for Jeremy. Playing on the computer is down time for him. He had a late meeting at work and then a meeting for the charity he is involved in. 

I'm proud of us both for reaching our 10,000 steps goal today. We had to walk around the house in the end to get it finished, but we made it. 

January 8-Bowler Jeremy

Jeremy joined a bowling league with some guys from the HOG chapter. Had fun and did a great job. 

January 7-Frozen

AlsoOn our last day of out extended winter break, Favid and I celebrated by going to see Frozen. Very cute. David liked it too. I know it won't be long before he won't want to go see the cute, little animated musical anymore. 

Also, Jeremy has been searching everywhere for his iPad. Looking for at least a week or more. Found it for him today underneath HOG chapter stuff on the floor. I also thought I found his missing bracelet, but alas, it was not the right one, which is good because it was in plain sight and I was going to think less of him for not using his eyes. 

January 6-Snow Day #6

The only thing of consequence we did today was read some Harry Potter and go see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, which I thought I would fall asleep in, but managed to stay a wake for almost all of it. It was cute.

January 5-Harry Potter Marathon

We have watched two HP movies and I thought that would be it for today. One left. But Jeremy wants to finish the last one. Even bought the last one so we could watch it tonight. 

We went to Walmart today and forgot that we were picking up David and his stuff. He was squashed in the back. We made it home without crushing the eggs. 

January 4-Meet and Clean

Had the HOG chapter meeting this morning. Jeremy did a great job as usual. 

Now he is setting up the surround sound in our living room. I'm so excited. It will now be a usable room and not wasted space. Feels much more homey. I, of course, am just sitting around watching and being impressed with him. 

Tried the new little mom and pop shop restaurant in Elm Springs tonight. Totally full. Small menu, but everything was yummy. 

January 3-Working and Relaxing

Jeremy is working on finding the perfect tshirt for his Xaumbie promo shirts. I am relaxing watching my second episode of Bones. 

Wore my boots for the first time today. Learned my skinny jeans aren't skinny enough. Boots hurt for a little while and I got worried, but it didn't take long to break them in. 

January 2-Packing Up Christmas

I think it's odd that I enjoy packing up the Christmas decorations more than I like putting them up. Putting them away means back to normal. It means things in their place. It feels good. So glad I have 2 weeks off at Christmas. It has been so nice to stay home. Funny how I live to travel to new places and love to stay home at the same time.

Jeremy is starting out the year doing something he loves...riding with friends.  Hopefully his new heated gear will keep him warm.

I'm doing what I love...watching BBC on netflix, setting goals I will probably never meet and listening to a great book. 

David has his buddy Max over who he hasn't seen since his birthday. They too are doing what they love...playing video games and making YouTube videos. Even offered to take them to the movies and they turned me down.
