Jedis
David and Max just had to go to the store dressed up in their Jedi costumes. We got quite a few strange looks. They also got tattoos.
David bobbing for apples
David has a new found appreciation for apples and just discovered the big basin I have that is perfect for bobbing. While he was unsuccessful here. He usually gets his apple.

Memory Lane
I took a stroll down memory lane today and went by the old BCSA campus. This overgrown area is the field where our kids had recess and I taught PE. I really just blew a whistle and wore shorts, but whatever. The K-1 campus is now occupied by an EXIT realty. My old building looks exactly the same and I am not sure anyone is using it at the moment. The last shot is my old classroom that flooded when it came a good rain. Will never teach English again unless I am about to starve.

Doing the Dishes
Believe it or not, David actually enjoys doing the dishes. I am sure it is more that he enjoys playing in the water, but if it gets a job done at the same time, then who really cares. Plus, we got to spend some of that quality time together that people are always going on about.

Hurst Pool
We had a great day at the pool in Hurst. Mom's car was in the shop so we got an extra day at the pool.
Mexican Restaurant
Crazy Family
Got together to eat with the family to celebrate graduations and Father's Day, much to my dad's chagrin who is totally against celebrating all holidays, bah humbug. And we celebrated David's birthday one more time at Uncle Bryan's house. Dawn dared David to stick his face in his cake and that was all it took. Not sure if you can see it, but that is his name in blue icing under his nose. Nice! That's my boy. Sorry dad.
Automatic Teller
So we are sitting at lunch after doing the sky coaster and David sees this sign and he asks me if we can go listen to the automatic teller after we eat. I, of course, had no clue what he was talking about. he said he wanted to hear the story the automatic teller had to tell. Well, that was just the cutest thing ever. I had to explain that the only story an automatic teller would be telling is how pitiful our bank account was looking. I like his idea of an automatic teller better.

Royal Gorge
Rocky Mountain National Park
Even though it was cloudy most of the trip, we still got some great views from Trail Ridge Road. Mom & Amy started to get a wee bit nervouse when the pavement ended and we started driving through the clouds. Needless to say, we didn't make it to the end of the road. When we got back from our drive there was a deer in our campground. David of course tried to chase it down, but to no avail.
